Susie says: "Cambridge has transformed my life! I had watched myself get bigger and bigger and never quite managed to stick to any diet I started. There was always an excuse for not facing the problem - new baby, husband working away, moving house, Nan terminally sick - so I just hid behind my hair and felt miserable. When my Nan passed away, I realised I had no excuses left and I couldn't possibly have felt more fat, ugly and desperate if I tried. My weight was pushing 15st and at 'almost' 5'4", was much too heavy. I had read about Cambridge and curiosity got the better of me, so I did some research into the diet, and was fascinated by how it works.
The night before I started the diet I almost felt sick with nerves. It sounds daft, but I was scared it wouldn't/would work, just generally scared about the whole thing. I also knew that this was probably a last chance to do something constructive about my weight. Apart from feeling hungry and tired on day 2, I had no real side effects. If anything, after the first few days, I almost felt like I was on a 'high'. Losing 8lbs in the first week also went a long way to keeping the motivation going. In all, I lost 5st and stay comfortably at 10st, sometimes going under, and sometimes going over. I am not 'cured', but I am now aware of my weaknesses. It's also much easier dealing with 5lb extra from a 'big' weekend, than it is 5st from a 'big two years'!!
I have trained as a Counsellor as I want to help others to lose weight, get healthy and be happier with themselves. Not only does this diet work, it's a fantastic tool for enabling you to maintain your weight afterwards. I'll be here for you throughout the whole thing, so give me a call now for an informal chat and you could soon be on the way to looking and feeling great!!! "
